Noticing. Notice your mind today.  Are you able to notice what you’re thinking? Notice when you are about to lose your cool. Something happened (This is called "the circumstance"). Your brain had a thought about it. Your body then has a physical reaction called a trigger. Begin to notice this process and practice using the breathe instead of yelling when you become triggered. Noticing and practicing is a powerful replacement tool for a behavior like yelling.
